Congratulations to the 7th grade JV 1 team for wining their match against West on Friday. Once again we had great serving by  Ashley XU (9), Kaytlin Killian (8) and Rylie (11), and  Nessy with an amazing 20. There were 3 aces served and lots of great playing by every one on the team. JV 2 made a valliant effort but feel short to West. But in the 3rd game Abby Smith scored the winning point by serving a short but perfect serve. Winning the game 27 to 25.
There are only two games left of the season. Come and support the varsity team on Tuesday in their match against Hillside. And the JV team on Wednesday against North.

Thanks,
Les

RIVERGLEN 8

Coach Swift is very proud to announce that the 8th Grade Girl

THS BASKETBALL SEASON FINALE REPORT:s Varsity basketball team was victorious in their final regular season game last Friday night at Les Bois Jr High, whipping the Lady Blazers 41 33. High point honors go to Brynn Dittman with a net swishing 29 amazing points. Also scoring in the game were Maddie Johnson with 6 as well as Sami Perren, Chloe Thibadeau and Alysia Santa Cruz. The girls put together a total team defensive effort to contain the Blazers primary scoring player. Special kudos to Sami Perren for an absolutely screaming defensive effort which would have made a battle hardened Amazon warrior from Greek mythology envious. She did it without even messing up her hair! The lady Griz finished the season tied for 4th place with 7 wins, 7 losses. I would also like to heap praise upon the JV girls who, despite only one win on the season, continued to improved as a team. Their team spirit was noteworthy and the girls fought absolutely to the last second in every game. Im proud of all you girls. Coach SwiftOUT! GRADE GIRL
